“… you shall not miss the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”

When you finally get a chance to meet your favourite artist or celebrity, how do you feel? Super excited, right? Filled with Joy, right? Wishing that day never end, but when you missed going to your regular outing and you heard he came there, you’d probably be filled with regrets asking yourself why you didn’t go, but you definitely know you’d have the chance to see him/her some other time some other time, maybe not sooner, as long as you’re alive. But what if Jesus comes back on his second coming and you miss him? you miss rapture, you definitely know that that’s the end, you get no chance to see him again and you missed heaven forever. I’m sure you do not want to miss heaven, neither do you want to go hell fire.

Now, the question is how do you not miss heaven? Hmm… While on earth, what kind of life do you live? A christ-like life or a life of the flesh? Did you live your life in accordance of the Lord or the rather? Did you glorify God while you’re on earth till your last moment? Did you worship his holy name? Did you tell someone about the one and truly Son of God, Jesus Christ? Did you remember the 10 Commandments talkless of obeying it? Did you love your neighbour as yourself? You owe nobody but your heart the answers to these above-mentioned questions, because the answers lies in you.

Take a look at your life, are you living for God? Brethren if indeed do not want to miss the second coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ, you should live for God and God alone, you should live a Christ-like life, the bible says in John 14: 6, “… I am the way ,truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me” — Jesus Christ. This means you’ve to go through christ, remember the commandments of the lord as it is written and commanded in the Book of Exodus 20, avoid your flesh ruling your life. The flesh is the opposite to the spirit, they fight against one another, but to be able to overcome the flesh, you need the holy spirit — The spirit of God. How do you get his Holy Spirit? By intimacy with God, By total submission, Then the holy spirit would come upon you as it did on the 12 disciples at the last supper.

Do not think God can’t hear you, Do not think God can’t answer your prayers because you’rea sinner. As the Bible says in Matthew 9:12, “For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners”. Jesus is after the sinners and not the righteous because he wants them to repent and change their ways and turn to God and him alone because God loves the sinners so much, God loves everyone, that is how Generous our God is, just turn to him and submit your heart and open it up to him and accept him into your life. Nothing feels good like having God in your life.

But as it is quoted in the Bible, Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone who says ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my father who is heaven”, I re-quote, “… the will of my father who is in heaven”. Brethren all you need to do is act in accordance to his will and you shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, you shall not miss the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!
